Banner Team Triumph

A team of Cadets from 134 (Bedford) Squadron have again for the fourth year in a row, successfully participated in the Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire Wing Banner Drill Competition.

The Banner Team, consisting of Flight Sergeant Jonathan Bell, Banner Warrant Officer (18 yrs), Corporal Rowan Shawl, Banner Bearer (17 yrs) and Cadets Lauren Fletcher, Banner Escort (14 yrs), Leonine Gomes, Banner Escort (14 yrs) and Stan Maguire, Banner Orderly (14 yrs) marched onto the Drill Square at RAF Brampton to participate in the prestigious competition following weeks of additional practice in their own time outside of normal parade evenings.

Determined to retain the Wing Banner Drill Trophy, ahead of the main competition the team had to compete in a Sector Competition against teams from 22 (Sandy) and 2065 (Biggleswade) Squadrons.
