Five Air Cadets from 134 (Bedford) Squadrons Ceremonial Flight carried the Bedfordshire & Cambridgeshire Wing Banner at a special parade to mark the 100th Anniversary of the Territorial Army.

The parade was held in the picturesque grounds of Woburn Abbey, Bedfordshire, on Saturday 17th May 2008, and was attended by the Royal Artillery band, the Territorial Army, Army Cadets, Air Cadets, Combined Cadet Force and Army Veterans.

The Duke of Bedford who was accompanied by the Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire reviewed the parade and took the salute outside the front of the Abbey.

The Squadron was specifically requested to undertake this important Ceremonial Function in recognition of its high drill standards. The banner party were supported by 101 fellow Air Cadets made up from all the Squadrons in the Western and Southern Sectors of the Wing.

The Ceremonial Flight consisted of Sgt James Tye, 19 yrs, who carried the Wing Banner, Sgt Michael Every, 18 yrs, Cpl Lindsey Cook, 15 yrs, Cpl Nicolas Every, 14 yrs and Cdt Jake Riches, 15 yrs.
