Air Cadets from 134 (Bedford) Squadron have for the very first time deployed into the field displaying the new ‘Air Cadets’ identification badge on their Soldier 95 Combat Clothing.

The new branding has been issued so that the public can correctly identify Air Cadets when they are seen in public undertaking their duties. 

Cadets from the Squadron were recently issued with the new badges which were sewn on in time for the units Field Team Selection weekend held in Ampthill Park, Bedfordshire, from 7th – 9th March 2008.

Sgt Tye said, “We are often confused for Army Cadets and these new badges will now correctly identify us. We all think they are a good idea, presenting us as a professional organisation.”
