134 (Bedford) Squadron |
Twenty cadets and staff from 134 (Bedford) Squadron joined forces with over a hundred other Air Cadets and Staff for a parade through Sandy town centre on Sunday. The annual 'Air Cadet Sunday' parade is to mark the formation of the Air Training Corps in 1941.
Joining Bedford squadron, were cadets from seven other local squadrons from Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire Wing.
Leading the parade was the marching band of Royal Air Force Wyton Voluntary Band. The parade marched into the Sandy Town Centre for a thanksgiving service at Sandy's St. Swithun's Church.

The 'march-past' and salute, on Sandy's High Street, was taken by the Squadron Leader P F Tuite who was representing the Station Commander, RAF Henlow/Brampton/Wyton and Councillor C Osborne MBE, Sandy town Mayor.
