With the start of the New Year 134 (Bedford) Squadron is pleased to announce two promotions within its ranks.

On Thursday 3rd January 2008, during the Commanding Officer’s Parade, Cadets Nicholas Every and Daniele Malandra were promoted to Corporal and presented with their Corporal tapes by Flt Lt Mark Robinson, the Squadron’s Commanding Officer.

Corporal Every, 14 yrs, has served in the Squadron for two years and recently gained a Credit and was the Best Student on the Bedfordshire & Cambridgeshire Wing Junior NCO Course. He has also served one tour in the Squadron’s Drill and Field Team where he has represented the Wing at Drill at a regional level.

Corporal Malandra, 16 yrs, has served in the Squadron for 3½ years and has served two tours in the Squadron’s Field Team and one tour in the Drill team where he has represented the Wing at Drill at a regional level.

Squadron Warrant Officer Taylor said, “These are important promotions and both Corporals should be proud of their achievements. I very much look forward to working with them in ensuring the continued success of the Squadron over the next 12 months.”
