Two Air Cadets from 134 (Bedford) Squadron are celebrating the successful completion of a Junior Non Commissioned Officer Course held at Royal Air Force Brampton, Cambridgeshire.

The course, organised by the Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire Wing Training Team, ran from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th October 2007.

The training is designed to develop the cadets in leadership, drill and discipline, corps knowledge and teamwork, all the requirements of being a Corporal in the Air Cadets. They were also marked on their individual effort throughout the weekend including room inspections of their living accommodation.

In true Bedford Squadron style Cadet Nicolas Every, 14 yrs, gained a credit and was awarded the top student award and Cadet Lindsay Cook, 15 yrs, also gained a credit and scored top marks in the written examination.

Warrant Officer Taylor said, “This is an impressive achievement from two of our younger cadets and reinforces the depth and quality of the training they received from the Squadron prior to attending this event. They should both be proud of their achievements, I know that we are.”
