 Bedford Scores again

Bedford Scores again!

23rd September, Bedford were back at RAF Brampton to compete in the annual Open Netball Competition. 10 teams compete against each other to try and reach the semi-finals.

Bedford competed well, winning three games to reach the semi-finals. Which they won 3-1.

Then it was on to the final, Bedford vs. Dunstable. Both teams played well and skilfully, the game reached 3 All, but in the last minute Bedford scored and took the championship 4-3.

RAF Brampton also held the annual Junior Football trails and Senior Rugby trails, all the boys from Bedford played well, Cdt Riches was lucky enough to be chosen to represent the wing in Football with Cdt Every as a reserve. Sgt Denham has been chosen to represent the wing in rugby for the 2nd year running.

Cpl Soroko has this to say this about the day, 'The day was fantastic, the Bedford girls played well and deserve to win the championship.'

All hard work and effort paid off, the Bedford boys and girls came back with smiles on their faces and all played with passion.
