Over thirty cadets from 134 (Bedford) Squadron enjoyed a night of fine food and entertainment for their annual squadron dinner to celebrate the success of the last twelve months together.

The Barns Hotel in Bedford was the venue for the formal dinner, on Friday 2nd February.
Upon arrival, cadets found their seats on the seating plan, and waited for the top table and the Mess President, Flight Lieutenant Mark Robinson, to arrive before they sat down. Once they were seated, the meal began.
After the three courses, there was a round of speeches, with the Commanding Officer, Flight Lieutenant Robinson starting, and a squadron guest, Squadron Leader Dave Hall, and Cadet Warrant Officer Antoni Otulakowski saying some words as well.
Shortly after the food was cleared from the tables, the disco started, and saw a great variety of dancing from all ages of cadets and staff.
Cadet Nicholas Every, 13, had the pivotal role of being ‘Mr Vice’, who has to initiate the loyal toast to the Queen. He said of the evening, ‘Tonight was fantastic; I thoroughly enjoyed all of the food, and the dancing. It’s really great to celebrate the year as a whole squadron.’
Commanding Officer of 134 (Bedford) Squadron stated, ‘It was pleasing to see all the cadets looking smart, and enjoying the evening, in the time-honoured fashion of a mess dinner’.
