Squadron Polishes Off The Opposition

It’s official, for the fourth year in a row 134 (Bedford) Squadrons gleaming Headquarters have been judged to be the best kept cadet premises in East Anglia.

Each year the Reserve and Cadet Forces Association East Anglia Branch inspect all the cadet premises within East Anglia to check that the user units are correctly maintaining them.

The Squadron Headquarters, currently on care and maintenance pending the construction of a new building was thoroughly inspected in July of this year by the judging panel and found once again to be up to the mark.

The building and its grounds are cleaned and cared for by the cadets and squadron staff who work hard all year round to ensure that the building maintains the highest possible standards.

Squadron Warrant Officer Taylor said, “They say success breads success and clearly that’s the case here at Bedford. To win yet again reflects the very high standards of the team that operate here. We present a positive and professional image to the public who pass by our building every day and this reflects well on the Air Cadet organisation as a whole.”
