Building Bull

On Tuesday 11th July 2006, the Squadron Headquarters was formerly inspected as part of the annual building inspections of all the Cadet premises in East Anglia.

A representative of the Reserve Forces and Cadets Association and Squadron Leader Lang RAFR the Bedfordshire & Cambridgeshire Wing Admin Officer conducted the inspection.

Prior to the inspection the Cadets worked extremely hard to ‘bull’ their building in order that it could be presented to the judging panel.

The Squadron is hopeful that it will again win the best-kept building award for 2006 as the Squadron has won this prestigious the award for the last three years. The whole Squadron eagerly awaits the result.

Squadron Warrant Officer Taylor said after the inspection, “We all worked extremely hard this year to put on a good show and I have to say the building and grounds look fantastic. The judges commented that standards across the region are rising and it may be a very close competition this year.”
