Onwards and Upwards

134 (Bedford) Squadron is pleased to announce two promotions within its ranks. On Monday 30th January 2006, Sergeant Antoni Otulakowski was promoted to Flight Sergeant and Cadet James Tye was promoted to Corporal.

Flight Sergeant Otulakowski (18 yrs) was the Squadron Cadet of the Year in 2005 and has recently been selected to represent the Corps at Cross Country where he will gain a coveted Corps Blue.

Corporal Tye (17 yrs) won the Commanding Officers award in 2005 and is due to fly this year in a Tucano aircraft as part of his reward.

Squadron Warrant Officer Taylor said, “We have an on going requirement to invest in the future and these promotions will ensure that we have a strong, committed and dynamic NCO team in place to take on the challenges of the year ahead. I congratulate them both and look forward to working with them.”
