Cleaned Up

It’s official, for the third year in a row 134 (Bedford) Squadrons Headquarters have been judged to be the best kept cadet premises in East Anglia.

Each year the Reserve and Cadet Forces Association East Anglia Branch inspect all the cadet premises within East Anglia to check that the user units are correctly maintaining them.

The Squadron Headquarters has been on care and maintenance for several years now and this has made it even more difficult to maintain the high standards expected by the judges.

However through hard work and commitment the Squadron has again achieved very high standards and has now set its sights firmly on winning the 2006 competition.

The Squadron is hopeful that the continuing renovation of a Tornado GR 1 gate guard, to be completed in the New Year, will assist in creating an even better impression of the unit to visitors and the general public.

Squadron Warrant Officer P Taylor said, “I am so impressed that we have for the third year running won this award. The cadets should be congratulated for having such high standards and working so hard to maintain their headquarters throughout the year.”
