New To The Crew

Cadet Sean Denham has been promoted to Corporal at the completion of a three-month potential NCO evaluation exercise. 

In September the evaluation process began and since that time candidates have been assessed in various leadership and training roles in order that their true capabilities could be evaluated. In addition the Squadron training team ran a series of NCO training weekends to enhance the skills of all existing and potential NCO’S. Operationally all candidates were required to periodically perform the duties of the Duty Corporal running the administrative side of an active parade evening. 

Squadron Warrant Officer Taylor said, “Corporal Denham should be congratulated for gaining his promotion having successfully completing the evaluation exercise. This is a well led, disciplined and successful unit that demands the highest standards at all times. I have no doubt that Corporal Denham will play a major part in the continuing success of our unit.”
