134 (Bedford) Squadron’s website – www.134.org.uk has been recognised as being amongst the best cadet websites in the world thanks to the latest round of presentations by the “The Cadet Awards” an organisation that reward military cadet organisation websites.
The squadron is honoured to be awarded two awards by the body, these are a Gold Award for website design and a Silver award for website content.

To be awarded a Gold award for website design, we had to score at least 95% from the 3 independent judges who are looking for clear, well designed and easy to navigate websites. We share this honour with only 15 other websites to have earned this award since 2002.
For the content award, the judges review if the website is informative and consistent with the organisation, they are looking for sites that promote, encourage and advance the military cadet movement. This silver award has only been presented to 14 other websites since 2002 and requires an average score of at least 85% across the judging staff.
A spokesperson for the Cadet Awards said "The judges thought that the overall design of the site is extremely good, and were all impressed by the simple and user friendly navigation and colour scheme."
134.org.uk has been going from strength to strength since it first went online 4 years ago. We now average over 500 visits a month to our site, which is aimed at new recruits, current members, ex-cadets, squadron visitors and sponsors alike.
We are continually developing our website with over 300 pages consisting of activity fact files, competitions, news stories, updated weekly, past exam papers an extensive history section with over 150 newspaper articles and photos dating from the squadrons birth in 1939 to the present day.
