134 (Bedford) Squadron is pleased to announce four promotions within its ranks.


Cpl Peter Roberts, Cpl Tiffany Cotton, Cpl Wesley Bradley, Sgt Nicholas Every

Corporal Nicolas Every has been promoted to Sergeant and Cadets Wesley Bradley, Tiffany Cotton and Peter Roberts have been promoted to Corporal.

Sergeant Every, 16 yrs, has served in the Squadron for 4 years and recently gained a Credit on the prestigious Air Cadet Leadership Course. He has served 4 tours in the Squadron’s Field and Drill Team. In 2009 he commanded the Squadron Drill Team and won the Bedfordshire & Cambridgeshire Wing Drill Competition. He went on to represent the Wing at the Central and East Regional Drill Competition where the team gained a second place. On the sports field Sgt Every has gained two Wing Blue Awards for Swimming and Cross Country.

Corporal Bradley, 14 yrs, has served in the Squadron for one and a half years. He has served one tour in the Squadron’s Field and Drill Team where he represented the Wing at the Central and East Regional Drill Competition.

Corporal Cotton, 14 yrs, has served in the Squadron for one and a half years. She has served one tour in the Squadron’s Field and Drill Team where she represented Wing at the Central and East Regional Drill Competition. An excellent sports woman she has already gained two Wing Blue awards for Cross Country and Athletics. Corporal Cotton also holds a Lifesaver Plus First Aid qualification.

Corporal Roberts, 17 yrs, has served in the Squadron for two years. He has served 2 tours in the Squadrons Field and Drill Team where he represented the Central and East Region at the Corps Drill Competition.

Squadron Warrant Officer Paul Taylor said, “These promotions are well deserved and all the individuals concerned should be congratulated on their achievements. They have been promoted at the start of what promises to be a busy year and I have no doubt that they will provide excellent leadership and encouragement to their peers.”
